Burn Magazine (japan) Review
It is the first album by a band with 5 members from America featuring
technical guitarist Rusty Cooley who has solo works already published.
It is straight up melodic heavy metal with symphonic keyboard and
flashy shredding guitar, and it almost seems effortless even though
there's elements of progressive/technical heavy metal to it. The
vocalist is remarkable and it might be too much of a compliment if I
say he is like "Daniel Highmen 65% + Johnny Lindcvist 35%" (sometimes
his pitches are shifty where he is excited) but he performes
outstanding powerful vocals enough for me to say so. I thought he has
an amazing talent who I should look out for...but he has left the band
after the album was done. Not good (Laughs). Therefore a new vocalist
already joined the band, and I cannot comment anything definite about
the future of the band. However, there is no question about the high
quality of this album.
